PTA-DRC: On the Ground, the Results Speak for Themselves!

Kongo Central, February 16, 2026 – A high-level field mission visited the PADCV-PTA sites to assess the performance of the 2025-2026 Season A agricultural campaign. The findings are clear: exceptional results in record time.

The delegation was led by H.E. Muhindo Nzangi Butondo, Minister of State for Agriculture, accompanied by a strong representation from the Social Fund of the DRC (FSRDC) led by its National Coordinator, Philippe Ngwala Malemba, and experts from the African Development Bank (AfDB) led by Vincent Castel, Division Manager for Agriculture in North and Nigeria at the AfDB.

A Strategic Visit to INERA GIMBI

After a courtesy visit to the Governor of Kongo Central province, the delegation went to INERA GIMBI, in the Seke-Banza territory, to witness the concrete progress of the PADCV-PTA.

Authorities' Satisfaction

H.E. Muhindo Nzangi Butondo strongly praised "the commitment of the FSRDC in realizing the presidential vision of the 'revenge of the soil on the subsoil'".

AfDB Hails Unprecedented Performance

Vincent Castel, Division Manager for Agriculture in North and Nigeria at the AfDB: "This is the first time an AfDB-financed project has achieved such a level of results in such a short time. I came to verify on the ground. I leave satisfied."
