Servir d'organe public de référence pour l'amélioration des conditions de vie des populations dans les 26 provinces de la République Démocratique du Congo.
Le Fonds Social de la République Démocratique du Congo (FSRDC) est un organisme public placé sous la Haute Autorité du Président de la République Chef de l'Etat.
Restructuré par Ordonnance Présidentielle n° 023/49 du 28 avril 2023 portant création, organisation et fonctionnement du FSRDC, il bénéficie d'une autonomie administrative et financière lui permettant de conduire efficacement ses programmes de développement à l'échelle nationale.
