FSRDC and EquityBCDC Foundation explore strategic collaboration opportunities to strengthen rural financial empowerment and accelerate agricultural transformation in the DRC.

On January 22, 2026, the Social Fund of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (FSRDC) held a strategic working session with a delegation from the EquityBCDC Foundation, led by Mr. Kanguala Makosso Djedje, Head of Food & Agriculture.

Chaired by Mr. Philippe Ngwala Malemba, National Coordinator of the FSRDC, the meeting enabled the EquityBCDC Foundation to present its objectives and intervention priorities, with a view to identifying concrete avenues for collaboration in the implementation of the Agricultural Transformation Program (PTA-DRC).

Strategic convergence for rural empowerment

Discussions focused on the Foundation’s areas of intervention, the alignment of visions between FSRDC and EquityBCDC Foundation, as well as mechanisms for financial empowerment of rural communities and sustainable improvement of living conditions through agriculture.

Toward an operational partnership

At the conclusion of the discussions, it was agreed to formalize a partnership request, allowing the EquityBCDC Foundation to deepen internal reflections and accelerate the development of a structured and operational collaboration.

The core ambition of the EquityBCDC Foundation is clear: to financially empower African communities and strengthen their economic resilience. This vision is fully aligned with the mission of the FSRDC and the ongoing agricultural transformation dynamic in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
