FSRDC and National Youth Council (CNJ) Strengthen Partnership to Empower 25,000 Congolese Youth in Agricultural Transformation

The Social Fund of the DRC (FSRDC) and the National Youth Council (CNJ) renewed their partnership under the AfDB-funded PAGDC-PTA project to empower 25,000 Congolese youth and strengthen their role in national agricultural transformation.

# **On October 23, 2025, the Social Fund of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FSRDC) held a strategic meeting with the National Youth Council (CNJ) at its Kinshasa headquarters.** The session, chaired by Didier MUBINZI, PAGDC-PTA Project Manager, and instructed by Mr. Philippe NGWALA MALEMBA, National Coordinator of FSRDC, aimed to revitalize collaboration with CNJ to enhance the project’s effectiveness. Key discussion points - The presence and role of CNJ centers in provinces covered by the PTA ; - Partnerships with universities to strengthen youth skills ; - Training of trainers and supervision of 25,000 youth beneficiaries ; - Institutional support and planning of high-impact joint actions. These fruitful discussions led to several joint resolutions designed to accelerate FSRDC–CNJ collaboration, placing Congolese youth at the center of national agricultural transformation. The PAGDC-PTA is a Presidential initiative aligned with the vision of H.E. Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, advocating the “revenge of the soil over the subsoil.” The project is implemented by the FSRDC and funded by the African Development Bank (AfDB).
