Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurship: FSRDC and PAMCI & AGRILIVING Consortium Shift into High Gear

Kinshasa, February 10, 2026 – The Social Fund of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FSRDC) takes another decisive step in its mission of agricultural transformation.

The FSRDC, represented by its National Coordinator Philippe Ngwala Malemba, has signed a strategic 3-year contract with the PAMCI & AGRILIVING Consortium, represented by its Deputy General Director Imonga Chipego. This signing, which took place in Kinshasa, marks the concrete launch of a key infrastructure project for the country's agricultural future.

Objective: Operationalizing Agricultural Incubators for Youth

The core of this partnership is the implementation and operationalization of two innovative types of structures:

• CPEJAB (Centers for the Promotion of Youth Entrepreneurship in Agribusiness)
• CCDMAI (Community Centers for the Development of Innovative Agricultural Trades)

These centers will be true incubators designed to train, equip, and support the next generation of Congolese agricultural entrepreneurs, within the framework of the flagship PAGDC-PTA program.

A Two-Phase Roadmap

Phase 1: Structure and Build a Solid Foundation

• Finalization of technical specifications for infrastructure and equipment
• Organization of cooperatives around agricultural value chains
• Transfer of innovative technologies and best practices
• Establishment of a modern center management system

Phase 2: Perform and Connect to Markets

• Quality assurance for installations
• Negotiation of offtake contracts at local, national, regional, and international levels
• Equipment maintenance

A Presidential Vision for Youth and Sovereignty

This partnership is fully in line with the vision of President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, that of the "revenge of the soil on the subsoil". The goal is clear: to make agriculture an engine of food sovereignty and a source of sustainable employment for young Congolese people.

The PAGDC-PTA project, coordinated by the FSRDC and funded by the African Development Bank (AfDB), is implemented in 5 strategic provinces:
