Strategic Partnership Discussions Between FSRDC and ENABEL to Support Youth Integration in Agriculture – Tshopo, DRC

On November 25, 2025, FSRDC and ENABEL held a strategic working session in Kisangani (Tshopo) to explore collaboration opportunities for youth and women integration in the agricultural sector under the PAGDC-PTA program.

**On November 25, 2025, a high-level technical working session was held in Kisangani, Tshopo Province, between the Fonds Social de la RDC (FSRDC) and the Belgian Development Agency ENABEL. This exchange aimed to strengthen collaboration in youth employment, professional skills development and agricultural value chains under the PAGDC-PTA program.** The meeting was led by: - Mr. Prosper NIEMBA, Provincial Coordinator of ENABEL Tshopo - Mr. Batalokutu Lombenda Urbain, FSRDC Provincial Agency Chief (Tshopo), representing Mr. Philippe NGWALA MALEMBA, National Coordinator - Mr. André OKOU, Entrepreneurship Expert – PAGDC-PTA Technical teams from both institutions Key areas of collaboration explored: • Youth entrepreneurship • Technical & vocational training • Agricultural value chains support • Agricultural innovation and digital technologies This initiative aligns with the component "Skills Development and Professional Integration" of the PAGDC-PTA, a flagship program of the national agricultural transformation strategy, financed by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and coordinated by FSRDC. > A step forward towards empowering young people, promoting employability and strengthening the agricultural ecosystem in the Tshopo Province.
