For the first time in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a national event will celebrate the richness, taste, opportunities and economic potential of the fisheries sector. The first edition of the Langwa Fish Festival is coming to Kinshasa.

Initiated by Langwa Fish Sarl, this first edition is under the patronage of the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries. It is co-financed by Langwa Fish Sarl and the Social Fund of the DRC (FSRDC), through the PADCV-PTA project, supported by the African Development Bank (AfDB).
"The Langwa Fish Festival is more than a culinary event: it is a major showcase to promote the fishing industry, promote local seafood products, support entrepreneurship and celebrate the immense potential of fish and seafood in the DRC."
