📌 PAGDC-PTA | Tshopo youth commit to transforming Congolese agriculture!

In Kisangani, Tshopo youth commit to becoming key actors in agricultural transformation under PAGDC-PTA.

“Congolese youth are the creative force of a generation determined to transform the nation.” With this vision from President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, an important working session was held in Kisangani on November 28, 2025, between the FSRDC and the Provincial Youth Council (CPJ) – Tshopo. The FSRDC delegation was led by Mr. Batalokutu Lombenda Urbain, Provincial Agency Chief, representing National Coordinator Mr. Philippe NGWALA MALEMBA, alongside Mr. Willy LIPASO, Provincial President of the CPJ. Discussion highlights: • Youth involvement in the implementation of PAGDC-PTA, • Skills development and entrepreneurship promotion, • Mobilization toward agricultural transformation and food sovereignty, • Empowerment of young people and women for economic impact. The youth of Tshopo expressed a strong commitment: > to participate fully, innovate, and become drivers of agricultural transformation. Project contribution The PAGDC-PTA, initiated by the President of the Republic, aims to strengthen youth employability and economic inclusion. It is: ️ implemented by the FSRDC, ️ funded by the African Development Bank (AfDB), ️ deployed in Kongo Central, Kasai Oriental, Tshopo, North Ubangi and South Ubangi. > Tshopo is moving forward. > Its youth are rising. > The future of Congolese agriculture is being built today.
