MATADI: ANAPI Open Days Inaugurate the Partnership with the Social Fund of the DRC!

The city of Matadi is buzzing with agricultural investment. From March 17 to 18, 2026, it hosts the Open Days of the National Agency for Investment Promotion (ANAPI), a strategic event that marks the official launch of the partnership with the Social Fund of the DRC (FSRDC).
This initiative is fully part of the dynamic of promoting investments in the Congolese agricultural sector, with a clear objective: to raise awareness, attract and support investors in agricultural value chains.
An ambition supported by strong partnerships
Funded by the FSRDC through PAGDC-PTA, with the support of the African Development Bank (AfDB), these days reflect a strong ambition: to make agriculture a true lever for economic growth and sustainable employment in the DRC.
FSRDC mobilized in the field
The speech of the National Coordinator of the FSRDC, Philippe Ngwala Malemba, was delivered by Fidèle Biyaka, Provincial Agency Head of FSRDC/Kongo Central. He was surrounded by a mobilized team of experts, agricultural aggregators and local cooperatives, all united to present the opportunities offered by the sector.
A highly popular FSRDC stand
After the official opening ceremony, the authorities visited the exhibition stands. The FSRDC stand particularly attracted attention, presenting itself as a true showcase of the actions and opportunities offered within the framework of the Agricultural Transformation Program (PTA-DRC).
The message is clear: investing in agriculture in the DRC means investing in the future.
The Head of State's vision in action
This dynamic is in line with the vision of the President of the Republic, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo: to make agriculture the engine of national prosperity, through the structuring concept of "the revenge of the soil on the subsoil".
