📌 PAGDC-PTA: FSRDC strengthens collaboration with Tshopo Civil Society to boost youth and women employability

In Kisangani, FSRDC engaged with Civil Society to enhance youth and women employability and entrepreneurship under PAGDC-PTA.

**On November 28, 2025, the FSRDC delegation led by Mr. Batalokutu Lombenda Urbain, Provincial Agency Chief (Tshopo), representing National Coordinator Mr. Philippe NGWALA MALEMBA, held a strategic working session with the Civil Society Coordination Framework of Tshopo.** Objective: mobilize Civil Society to actively participate in the youth and women employability component of the PAGDC-PTA, part of the national Agricultural Transformation Programme (PTA-RDC). After introductory remarks by Mr. Alphonse LONGONDO BAFUNZA, Provincial President of the Civil Society Coordination Framework, expert André Okou presented the PTA-RDC and the skills development & entrepreneurship component of PAGDC-PTA. Discussions were rich and interactive, addressing key concerns and building mutual understanding and support. This engagement aligns with the vision of H.E. Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, emphasizing agricultural sovereignty, food security and citizen participation at the center of national development. The PAGDC-PTA, coordinated by FSRDC and funded by the African Development Bank (AfDB), is implemented in five provinces: Kongo Central, Kasai Oriental, Tshopo, North Ubangi and South Ubangi. > Tshopo is mobilizing for an inclusive and sustainable agricultural transformation, empowering youth and women for economic opportunity.
